POPSUGAR Must Have Subscription Box Review – May 2014
Last month I was one of the last to get my POPSUGAR Must Have box, but for the May box I’m on the earlier end – I guess I will never figure out exactly how POPSUGAR shipping works!
The Subscription Box: POPSUGAR Must Have
The Cost: 39.95 a month
COUPON: Use code MODNIQUE to save $10 off your first box!
The Products: “Must Have” items for women selected by POPSUGAR editors. (Fitness, Home, Beauty, Food, and more)
Each box comes with a letter from Lisa Sugar discussing the themes for the box. This month is all about getting ready for summer!
It also is a fold out card with details on each item.
Tone It Up One Day Fat Blast – Value $10
I had just purchased this DVD (I watched their Bravo show and thought they were fun, so I wanted to give their workouts a try!). Now that I have an extra I will end up gifting or swapping it. I’m excited to try this one and hopefully I like it enough to try their Beach Babe workout next!
Zing Anything Citrus Zinger – Value $17
This bottle is BPA free and top-rack dishwasher safe! I already have a similar bottle, but it is always good to have an extra – especially with summer almost here. (The paper insert also has some delicious sounding recipe ideas!)
Smell Bent St. Tropez Dispenser – Value $45
I’m always a little concerned when a subscription box features a perfume as it’s most expensive product in the box since it’s such a taste-specific category. Personally I like this scent – it really does smell like sumer (AKA sun tan lotion).
Kerry Cassill Eye Mask – Value $24
This eye mask is made with 100% cotton and it feels very lightweight and the fabric is breathable. It’s going straight to my nightstand! (I’m curious to see if everyone gets the same pattern).
Verdict: This box has a value of about $110. I think it’s a fun summer box, and while I don’t love it as much as I loved the April box, I think they did a good job putting together a box that’s all about getting ready for summer!
What did you think of the May POPSUGAR Must Have box? And did you like the scent of the big ticket item?
