New Site Feature – Subscription Box Discussion!

This post may contain referral/affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

Up until now it’s been very easy to see the most recent posts on My Subscription Addiction, but not the most recent comments. (A lot of very useful comments often get posted on older posts).

So we added a Subscription Box Discussion Page that highlights the most recent comments. You can also hover over the “Last Comment by ____” to see the comment without having to click through to the discussion.

(Oh and you can now upload a photo with your comment – if you ever want to share what you received in a mystery box for example!)

I hope this is helpful – please let me know if you have any feedback/suggestions!

  1. Brilliant idea!! I do want to comment when I get my boxes but sometimes that box review falls back to older posts and I miss the chance to post when it’s relevant or forget to. I also like to keep up with box comments, this is awesome!

  2. This site keeps getting better and better!

  3. What a great idea. You are so smart! Can’t wait to try it

  4. One quick question. Is there a way to make user names unique? I know there is another “Keri” here. I don’t mind being “Keri 2” or some other form of my name. I just think it would be good to be able to distinguish one person from another. We all can’t be “Sneaky Burrito”! 🙂 Or should we just use a picture by our name? Just wondering what you think.

    • My real name is probably just as unique. Actually it’s why I started using an alias online (I use the same one pretty much everywhere). Was looking for a job in 2012 and didn’t want everything out there for potential employers to see.

I think pictures would work to distinguish people who use the same name, though.

  5. Liz, this is such an awesome idea! I always scroll down and read the comments. But, like you wrote, rarely go back to revisit them. The only problem is that my fellow addicts (box connoisseurs?) are terrible enablers. 😉 This should be fun!

    • Thanks so much! I’m glad to hear it is useful! 🙂
