Peau Vierge Anti-Aging Pressed Powder in Shade 2 – Value $75
This is the second time now they’ve sent out skin-tone specific makeup, and I find it a little surprising and frustrating. (There was no questionnaire when you signed up about your skin-tone, so I’m sure there are some subscribers who can’t use the April box at all). They might be fixing this if you contact them – I’m not sure.
Now that I have finished my rant, I can comment on the actual product! (When you flip the compact it also has a sponge applicator for the pressed powder). The powder itself is a little dark for my skin-tone now, but will work well in the summer. The finish of this powder is great in my opinion – it doesn’t look like you are wearing powder at all. It has about a medium about of coverage, and I can see myself using this and Supergoop CC Cream all summer long!
Verdict: This box cost me $29 and I received a $75 product so I’m very happy with the value of this box. This subscription has definitely been a great way for me to sample full size version of Le Metier De Beaute items and find my favorites! Do you subscribe to Beauty Vault VIP?
