Pijon Box Review March 2014 – College Subscription Box Card

Each box comes with a card detailing the items included. This month’s theme is Get Energized – items to help you with working out.

Pijon Box Review March 2014 – College Subscription Box Earbuds

Toccs Panorama Earbuds – Value $29

Plump for Joy Thicking Hair Lifter – Value $6.99

They included this hair lifter spray to give your hair a boost after a workout! I definitely don’t need anymore earbuds, but they always come in handy!

Pijon Box Review March 2014 – College Subscription Box Chips

Pan De Oro Blue Sesame Tortilla Chips – Value $4

These were included as a healthy post-workout snack. (Maybe a stretch to fit the theme – but I’m always happy with organic chips!)

Pijon Box Review March 2014 – College Subscription Box Tea

Revolution Tea Sampler – Value $3

Energems Chocolate Candy – Value $6

These Energems candies seem to be in every subscription box lately! I’m very happy about the tea though – I love trying out new blends!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $50. I would have preferred if the majority of the value wasn’t in the earbuds, but I’m sure a lot of college students were happy to get them in the box!

FYI – I just learned that Pijon Box started a Pijon Bucks program – you take a super quick survey on the items in your box and earn $5 in Pijon Bucks. This definitely adds the to value of the box for me! (I love boxes with good rewards programs!)

  1. Yea got this on living social deal…(done now) wont order again. Didn’t even get my “discounted” values worth. Too pricey, for what you get

  2. My daughter was thrilled with the earbuds as hers were stolen from her. They are packaged just like the apple brand ones, and work just as well. Two days after my daughter received this package the earbuds casing over the wires ripped off at the plug. I contacted Pijon, and they said that they would send out replacements right away. I am very pleased with their response. Now if they (all subscription boxes) would stop sending out the gross energems I think a lot of people would be happier.

  3. I’m really not happy with the last few Pijon boxes. The curation seems lazy and the value is low. The first few boxes I got from them when they first started were actually really good boxes. I was glad to see a tech item in this box, but the quality is very poor. All in all I won’t be resubscribing when my sub is up in a few months. I hope co-ed supply doesn’t go in the same direction, right now their boxes are great.

  4. I wish I had your mailbox for a day, Liz!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
