Love With Food Review & Coupon - March 2014 Card

Each box comes with a card detailing the items selected for that month. This month’s theme is Flavors of the World!

Love With Food Review & Coupon - March 2014 Emmys

Chai Spice Macaroons by Emmy’s Organics – 1 bag (2 oz), value: $1.99

Taco & Burrito Meat Seasoning by Desert Gardens – 1 pouch (1 oz), value: $3.50?

I didn’t quite know what to expect with these Chai Spice Macaroons, but I loved them once I tried them! The spiced flavor makes them seem just like regular cookies. They’re surprisingly moist and soft, and I’m so happy that they’re vegan, raw, and gluten-free!

I’m also excited to try out the Taco and Burrito Meat Seasoning. The list of ingredients is made entirely of recognizable ingredients like paprika and red chili powder.

Love With Food Review & Coupon - March 2014 Card

Sea Salt and Vinegar Cassava Chips by Wai Lana – 1 bag (1 oz), value: $1.67

Pasta Chips by Vintage Italia in Marinara – 1 bag (1 oz), value: $1.50?

These sea salt and vinegar chips are not only delicious, but the flavor is also milder compared to how strong some other brands can be. I think these are a must-try, and some people who typically don’t like this flavor may even enjoy them! Also, they aren’t made form potatoes but from cassava, which is a tropical tree root – so they’re better for you than regular chips!

Love With Food Review & Coupon - March 2014 Short Bread

Walker’s Pure Butter Shortbread Fingers – 1 oz (two cookies), value: $.85?

Earl Grey Tea by Taylors of Harrogate – 1 tea bag, value: $.50

Chimes Ginger Chews in Mango and Original Flavors – 1 of each pieces (2 pieces total), value: ~ $.45

Lollipops by Pierrot Gourmand in Milky Grenadine Flavor – 1 lollipop, value: $.65

The Chimes Ginger Chew are similar in texture to gummy candies. They’ve got great flavor without being too sweet. A bag of these would definitely be great to keep in my purse! The original was my favorite between the two, and they’re also gluten-free!
You can never go wrong with Walkers Shortbread Cookies! They’re incredibly buttery and melt in your mouth. I ate these as soon as I was done with pictures!

The Verdict: The total value of the box is about $11.00, but I am once again really happy with the variety packed into this Love With Food box! They seem to always have some sweet treats as well as savory ones, and I always find I liked items I never would have tried on my own. Which items did you love most from your March Love With Food box?

I subscribed back in February and couldn’t even get in on the March box! I am waiting for my first box, which will be in April. Long wait!

This month was my first box with Love With Food. The cassava chips were the first thing I tried & OMG I could eat them everyday. I ate the pasta chips today at work & they made my work day better 😉 I wasn’t a fan at all of the ginger chews or lollipop, but I used the seasoning last night for nachos & they were great! The tea & shortbread were a good match. I’m saving the macaroons for tomorrow, then all my snacks will be gone 🙁 lasted me a week though! 🙂

I get the deluxe box so everything is doubled. I normally like my boxes but I wasn’t too keen on the coconut cookies but that’s just because I don’t like coconut . Everything else was amazing!

Was disappointed by this month, found it very skimpy. Would not have killed them to give more than one lollipop or tea bag. Unless you are getting a deal on this box (I’m paying $8.50) I think it’s overpriced at $12.00
