  1. I got the shipping email for my Golden Tote! This is my first one… I went with the mint multi-colored blouse… I’m so excited to see what else I get!!! I sure hope the blouse fits, I’ll be really disappointed if it doesn’t and I have to send it all back 🙁

  3. It took some perseverance yesterday, but I picked the Classic Meets Modern Shift, my first choice! I’m concerned about the length (so short!), but as another commenter mentioned, I can always wear it with leggings or tights. I wasn’t actually going to buy a tote this month, but I couldn’t turn down the coupon!

  4. I got the ivory chic nit top in the $49 tote which is what I wanted. It’s my first tote so I hope I love it 🙂

  5. I’m super excited they are growing so fast but they kind of need to get it together. I got two totes (EEK!!!). A $49 with the mint retro tunic and a $149 with the spring white dress and white blouse that’s not even on the site anymore. So excited!!!!

  6. I really wanted the striped cardigan and the square knit cardigan. By the time I got the email, the striped cardigan was gone, so I got the step into spring dress instead. Now I’m bummed because I see the cardigan I really wanted is available again in other colors. It was disappointing to miss it, but even more disappointing to see they have them now that I’ve already ordered! I wonder if there is a way to switch…

    • Ask on FB AND email them. They are pretty good about replying.

  7. Wow, talk about a popular sale! I couldn’t be online during the first couple of hours. I just not purchased the Mint Cardigan and Gray beaded sweater. I really wanted the cardigan in the navy, but it sold out so quickly. You can’t even buy the sale items because most are sold out. I wonder what the surprise items will be?

    I ended up not being home when Golden Tote launched. Originally, I was going to go with the wrap sweater and the knit cardigan. By the time I got there I missed out on the navy wrap sweater. But, they had just restocked the simple chic knit tops. So I was able to get one of those. I am happy with what the two items. This was my first time ordering this kind of tote. It was a learning experience. I find it really interesting that items come back in stock. It seems like it would be a crazy place to work. I picture in my mind boxes of clothes in different parts of offices. Then someone saying “Wait a minute, I just found another box with 10 wrap sweaters in it.” Crazy system they have. I am curious to see what other items will be in the tote.

    • Haha – I love the way you picture their office! I’m not sure why they add different colors after the original colors sell out. Maybe I need to reach out to them and do a “behind the scenes” post about how each Golden Tote comes together!

      • That would be great if you posted a “Behind the scenes”. What did you end up ordering?

        • I got the jean jacket and the breezy cardigan. Hopefully they both fit – otherwise they will be swapped! 🙂

          • I got the jean jacket too…i’m so nervous, though, because it said in the description that it runs small…but the size chart made the large look like it’d be too big, so I just ordered a medium. I hope it’s not so small that I can’t wear things underneath it! I also got the retro printed tunic in the mint combo. I really wanted both those wrap sweaters too…hopefully I get something similar as my surprises! =)

One of the items I got was the Square Knit Cozy Cardigan – I am 5 feet tall and usually NEVER buy anything that is One Size Fits All, but I was so crazed by the time I got on the site after this whole ordeal that lasted for 3 days, that I went insane and got it anyway. I’m hoping that it’s not a floor-length robe on me!! HA!

    • Haha – they definitely have created a frenzy mentality with this 3-day delay! Here’s hoping the cardigan fits! 🙂

  10. So glad I got my order through – I got the Step into Spring dress and the Square knit cozy cardigan! I realized after I placed my order that I put the promo code in the notes instead of discount field. Hopefully their CS will be able to fix it!

  12. Super disappointed! Last month they were out of all the $50 totes. This month after waiting 3 days, I logged in within 1/2 hour and they were out of all my sizes. I wanted that cardigan and chevron sweater. Didn’t even get to take advantage of the $10 off. Whats the point of all the hype if they don’t have enough stock to last more than 1/2 hour. I may stop trying in future months. I’m not impressed with this company.

    • I just checked the site and it looks liked they restocked some of the sold out items/sizes. Hope that helps!

  13. Super disappointed! First last month all the $50 bags were sold out and now after waiting 3 days, I logged in within 1/2 hour after they were up and running and both tops I had been eyeing were out of my size. I really wanted that cardigan and chevron sweater. I don’t know that I will keep trying. If they want to be a monthly subscription they should have enough to offer people for more than just the first 1/2 hour. And I didn’t even get to take advantage of the $10 off for the wait.

  14. I went with the Classic Meets Modern shift dress from the $49 bag and seriously HOPE it fits well; I’m thinking it’ll be a bit short but leggings will make it work. I made it through checkout just great but haven’t received a confirmation email just yet…

  16. I missed the announcement and none of the sizes are available for me in the two items I was hoping to get. 🙁 Bugger. Well, they did release it at a time when there wouldn’t be a lot of people looking; not noon. Suspect they didn’t have the same performance problems either. 🙁

  17. Wow, that required some perseverance… I got a simple chic knit top in ivory and a fun and flirty v-neck top (blouse) in mint multi. I hope it was worth it!!!

  18. Disappointed. I can only afford the $49 tote right now, and even with the $10 off there was nothing worth getting. Love the black & white sweater but it’s only in the more expensive tote. Sad.

    • I agree. I wanted something from the bigger tote but im not interested in spending $149 to get it.

  23. This is so frustrating! I got all the way to the checkout page and it keeps telling me the site is temporarily down. I’ve refreshed but can’t complete my order. 🙁

  24. I’m sorry but this is getting ridiculous. Does anyone else feel like a crackhead for trying to get on the sight for the past 3 days? I think all of this drama is just making everyone want it more. Ugh. So frustrating. Not good.

    • lol…yes i swear i have done nothing but look for golden tote updates for 3 days…i’m exhausted! hopefully now that i have finally ordered my tote i can finally sleep. you would think with all this time i would have known what i wanted but i didn’t know until i placed my order! I ended up with the bold and beautiful blazer and the classic meets modern shift dress. can’t wait!

    • I kind of glad it was postponed, it gave me time to really think about it without all the hype. Once I look thru all they had for both totes I decided not to get one. I got so caught up in all the frenzy I lost track of the big picture. Lol. Maybe I’ll like the next tote. Does anyone know their PR persons contact? I’m do I Nguyen a magazine article about boxes and wanted to reach out to them but I can’t find a PR number.
