First 2014 QVC New Beauty Test Tube - Now Available! for January

The latest QVC New Beauty Test Tube is now available for purchase (or you can sign up for an auto-ship subscription).

The Box: QVC New Beauty Test Tube – January 2014 (available every quarter).

The Cost: $29.96 plus $6.72 shipping

The Products:

  • 3-fl oz CHI Smart Silk Iron Guard Mist – Value $6
  • 1.75-oz Supersmile Professional Whitening Toothpaste -Value $8.75
  • 1-fl oz Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich Body Lotion – Value $2
  • 1-fl oz Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich Body Wash – Value $2
  • 0.85-fl oz Alterna Caviar CC Cream – Value $7.50 (FYI – this is a HAIR CC cream!)

  • NewBeauty Magazine – Value $10

Based on my estimates this box has a value of about $100. I used to auto-subscribe to this box, but I think when I switched credit cards I cancelled that, so I’ll be signing back up. (I’m a little overwhelmed with all the Mally products in New Beauty Test Tubes lately, but the Algenist serum alone makes this box worth it for me!)

Are you going to get the latest QVC New Beauty Test Tube? (FYI – this is a different box than the regular New Beauty Test Tube subscription, which ships every other month.

  1. I have the new beauty test tube are they completely different? Would it be worth it to get both?

  2. The Alterna CC cream is fabulous! I have thin, fine hair and it leaves it so soft and shiny. I got the same size as a point perk from Sephora, and that little bottle has lasted me a long time. I’m usually pretty meh about most hair products, and rarely finish them.

    • I’m so glad to hear….I just realized i have the cc cream. I purchased a very small travel kit from Sephora over the holidays and it has this size in it. I’m going to use it this week!

  3. I can’t wait to try the CC cream for hair. I really like the sizes of the samples in the test tube.

    • One of my best friends cannot live without the CC cream for her hair so I’ve been dying to try it! It’s what I’m most looking forward to in this tube =)

      • OOo, great! I have tried lots of Alterna’s products and love them.

  4. This box is on my want list, but not very high up, so I’m doubting I will get it!

  5. Well, I won’t be getting this tube for several reasons but the greatest is the Peter Roth Thomas stuff!!!! I get it as tolietry items every time I check into a hotel and I dislike the stuff very much!!!! The lotion is awful! Not worth .5 cents let alone $2 they are advertising!!!! Not is tube for me!!!!

  6. This doesn’t seem very impressive to me for several reasons the biggest one is the Peter Thomas Roth stuff! I get that at most hotels I stay at as a toiletry item and I dislike it very much! To me its not worth 5 cents let alone $2. Doesn’t work and the lotion is horrible! Sorry Liz to complain, but this tube of stuff is one I won’t be getting!!!!!

  7. Oh no… I have to have this… and I was thinking of resigning up for Glossybox. Tax time cannot come fast enough lol.
