Poketo Quarterly Subscription Box Review #PKT03

I’ve been on a quest to try out a lot of Quarterly subscription boxes, and keep the ones I love. I decided to try out Poketo’s box because I really like their products! (Check out the Poketo website to see what I mean).

Each Quarterly box comes with a letter from the curators. This month’s theme is getting back to nature with eco-friendly products.

Teak Wood Coasters – Value $12

While I definitely don’t need any more coasters, I do love the rustic look of these. They’ll be great for the holidays.

Juniper Ridge Campfire Incense in Sweetgrass – Value $10

Tree Spinning Top – Value $2

Normally I’m not an incense person, but this campfire scent is amazing – plus I love that it’s all natural!

Reclaimed Wood Colored Pencils – Value $12

Woodgrain Eco Notebook in File – Value $13.50

This is a cute set – I’m not sure how I will sharpen these pencils though? But maybe this set will make a better gift for a friend with more artistic abilities than me!

Verdict: I have mixed feelings about this box. I think the curation and theme are great, but I wish this box had a better value. I paid $50 for this box and received $50 worth of products. So while the value is fair, I’m surprised this box didn’t have a better value considering that 4 out of the 5 items come from Poketo’s site – I would expect that Poketo subscribers would get a better deal on products than full-retail price!

What do you think of the Quarterly Poketo Box?

  1. From what I have read about those colored pencils, the lead doesn’t go all the way through the pencil. It only goes through the very top portion so you may not need to worry much about sharpening them. Pretty lame if you ask me!

    • Definitely not very practical!
