Gift Ideas for College Students
Looking for gift ideas for college students? For both guys and girls, this list should have you covered!
Pijon Box – 4 months for $108, 6 months for $150
Pijon Box is a monthly college student care package subscription box. They have options for both men and women, and each box includes snacks, health and beauty items, essentials, and a few fun items too! Check out my Pijon Box reviews to see what your college student can expect to receive with their subscription.
Photo Hanging Set – $24.99
In dorms, or even off-campus, floor space is usually limited, so the walls are the best place to decorate and show your personality! This photo hanger has an industrial look that will work with any decor, and since the photos are just attached with clips, it’s also easy to switch out photos, and put up notes, inspirational images, etc.
Doteable Mini Duffle – $15 for 1 month, $45 for 3 months, or $90 for a 6 month subscription
Doteable Mini is another monthly care package for guys and girls. Each month they send two essentials (t-shirt, socks, underwear), and some fun items too (snacks, desk accessories, etc). Check out my Dotable Mini reviews to see examples of what your college student will receive with this subscription.
Megaphone – $16.99
Pep rally’s, tailgating on game days, pranks, and college life in general – a megaphone with built in siren can definitely come in handy! This one requires 4 D batteries, so make sure to include them with the gift!
Nature Box – $59.97 for 3 months, $99.97 for a 6 month gift subscription
Nature Box is a great way to make sure your college student is getting healthy and delicious snacks and treats every month. Nature box only uses natural ingredients, and their snacks are really tasty too! (Check out my Nature Box reviews to see what’s in a typical box).
GameFly Subscription – $36.50 for 3 months, $94.95 for 6 months
If you know your college student loves playing video games, this is the perfect gift! It’s Netflix for video games, and they carry almost every game on every system, so there are plenty of great games to rent. I love this gift because you don’t even have to know what gaming system your recipient has and you can still get them all the games they want to play!
Chromecast – Value $35
Chromecast is a simple tool that lets you stream online video or music from your laptop, tablet, or smartphone to your TV. It’s compatible with Netflix, YouTube, Hulu Plus, Pandora, and more. I think this is a great gift whether or not your college student has cable, and it’s small enough to fit in a stocking!
Honest Company – 3 month gift of the Honest Essentials Bundle is $107.85
My brother is a sophomore at college, and this is one of the subscriptions I’ve already gifted him. With the Honest Essentials Bundle he has a constant supply of laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, hand soap, multi-surface cleaner, shampoo, conditioner, or whatever else he needs. Plus, all Honest Company products are eco-friendly and work really well! I definitely feel good about gifting this subscription! (Check out my Honest reviews).
LED Frisbee – $19.22
Frisbee on the quad is a college life staple, but this frisbee takes it to the next level. It has a strong LED light that allows you to play in the dark too!
Plated – $60 for 2 dinners for 2 people, plus larger options available.
When Easy Mac or dining hall meals aren’t cutting it, there’s nothing like a home-cooked meal. If your college student has a kitchen in their dorm or off campus, and they’re ready to do a little cooking – they will love this box. Plated sends you everything you need to make a meal – your student will just need salt, pepper, oil and a pan! (They get to select which meals they want, and will be able to preview what cooking utensils they might need). (Check out my Plated reviews).
Party Cup In Here Trash Can – $24.99
A fun and practical take on the red cup party-necessity – I had to include this on the list!
Call Your Mother Pillow – $89
Lastly, this item made me laugh so I had to include it. It’s a great not-so-subtle gift for moms to give!
That rounds up the college student gift guide. If your college student is also a beauty fan, make sure to check out Gift Ideas for the Makeup Lover!
