Bombfell Review & $10 Coupon – Men’s Clothing Subscription
Bombfell is a men’s clothing subscription service, and they let my boyfriend try out the service for one shipment so I could review it. Thank you Bombfell! They also are offering $10 off to all My Subscription Addiction readers, just use this link!
Since this is our first time using this stylist service, I thought I’d break down every step of the process.
How it works:
1) You fill out a quick survey to let them know your sizes, your style and the brands you prefer. (They also let you specify if there are certain styles you would never wear).
2) Pick your budget. They have three options: up to $69 an item, up to $129 an item, and up to $199 an item. Depending on your budget, you can pick out what you want you first item to be. (For example, you can only pick a blazer if you are OK with spending up to $199 an item).
(We picked the luxuryoption and selected a jacket as our item).
3) After you complete sign up, your stylist will email you with the item she picked based on your criteria. Here’s what our first email looked like:
When you get the email you have two options: 1) Do nothing. The item selected will then ship soon. 2) Request a change.
When we saw this jacket, we realized that my boyfriend has a very similar jacket, and probably wouldn’t use the light-blue reversible side, so we decided to change it up. It was SUPER easy to click through and request a different item. We decided to go with a premium pair of jeans instead. A day later, we got this email:
These looked good, so we did nothing, and the next day the package shipped. (It looks like you have 24 hours to request a different item).
The jeans also came with a coupon to use at ManPacks – another men’s subscription on our list to check out!
They include a card reminding you that you have 10 days to return the item if you decide it’s not for you. (Good news- returns are free).
Another look at the jeans!
Verdict: My boyfriend liked the style and cut of the jeans, so they definitely matched his clothing preferences well. I think my favorite part of the service is that they let you preview the item they selected for you before it ships. I’m sure this helps cut down on returns, and even though returns are free, I just hate going to the post office!
