Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review – Celebrity Subscription Boxes – May 2013

Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review - Celebrity Subscription Boxes - May 2013

The Tyler Florence Fancy Box and the Food Fancy Box are definitely two of my favorite Fancy subscriptions – I love food, and I love the tools that make me better at cooking food! (Check out all my Fancy Box reviews).

Each box comes with a card for each item Tyler selected for the box:

Prepara Herb Savor – Value $29.99

This is definitely my favorite item in the box! Typically when I buy fresh herbs for a recipe, what I don’t use usually goes to waste. I will definitely use this – and it’s dishwasher safe and BPA-free! (Also, it has great reviews from¬†Williams Sonoma!)

Norpro Round Egg/Pancake Rings – Value $6

Apron Guide – Value $26

This apron is high-quality, and a really smart design – now that I have two I will definitely be using one as a housewarming gift in the future. (I just wish they hadn’t already sent me this in the May Fancy Food box!)

This mug is designed for easy tea-steeping. “Tilt your mug and let gravity do the work.” It’s a pretty slick design. Here’s a look out of the box:

Verdict: Another great Tyler Florence Fancy box! I paid about $45 for this box with shipping, and received about $80 worth of fun kitchen items. Now I just want my Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy box to arrive! What did you think of the May Tyler Florence Fancy Box?

    1. I’m debating between signing up for this box and the Fancy Food box… I’m worried about signing up for both of them, since it gets to be kind of pricey, and it looks like they send duplicate items…

Which one should I get? Or is it worth it to just get both?

      • I think the apron was the only duplicate item I’ve received, so I think you will be safe with signing up for both boxes. Tyler Florence’s box has been pretty much all kitchen tools and accessories, and the Fancy Food Box has been pretty much all food – so they compliment each other nicely!

        Hope that helps :)

    2. It seems like so many of the boxes have duplicate items, and that it really only works if you sub to only one box I guess. The herb thing is nice though! For a regular tea-drinker I don’t think that mug makes a lot of sense but maybe I’m wrong.

    3. Did anyone else get billed for the second Jennifer Love Hewitt box despite having not received the first box yet?…

    4. Looks like a nice box – I adore Tyler Florence. I have to agree with you on looking forward to receiving the Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy box! I’ve never been so excited to receive a box – I hope it gets here soon!

    5. Wow, we literally posted reviews of this minutes from being the same time. I just wish fancy would stop sending duplicate items. And their customer support is very inconsistent. Sometimes they respond in minutes, and sometimes it takes up to a week.
