Fancy Box Food Subscription Review – Monthly Gourmet Subscription Boxes
This is my first Fancy Food subscription box. I recently heard that The Fancy acquired Samplrs (another food discovery subscription box) so I’m curious to see how that will impact what’s in future Fancy Food boxes.
The Box: Fancy Food Box
The Cost: $39 plus shipping
The Products: Gourmet sweets, treats, snacks, etc. (Plus recipe cards inspired by products in your food box!)
Drunken Monkey Jam – $10
Serenitea – Value $15
This loose leaf tea is organic and caffeine free. Normally at this point in the post I would complain about my ever growing tea collection thanks to subscription boxes, but I this the glass container and packaging on this tea is too sweet to complain about! Also – I can’t wait to try the Drunken Monkey Jam! It’s “sugar coated bananas with a splash of rum and a dash of lime. Try with peanut butter.” Yum!
The Brooklyn Salsa Company – Tropical Salsa – Value $7
Fine & Raw Chocolate Bon Bons – Value $10
Toasted Almond Biscotti – $9.95
Q Sodas in Kola and Ginger – $2 each
These might have been the highlight of the box for us. I don’t drink soda anymore, but loved the taste of each of these – they weren’t too sweet. I love that they use agave syrup – not high fructose corn syrup.
Charlito’s Cocinca Chorizo – Value $15
Verdict: I’m very happy with the first Fancy Food box! The value is great (approx $70) and so was the food! Plus, all these brands are new to me, and I love discovering new treats! What did you think of the first Fancy Food Box?

I thought the box was great! The biscotti was a bit hard, but loved it all! can’t wait for next month!
This was my first Fancy anything, and I was really nervous about spending that much money…but this box really blew my mind. I’m so excited for the next one!
Yay! Glad you liked it too
